A design and construct water solution project transferring primary treated effluent from remote facultative lagoons to towns irrigation storage ponds. The project included water draw from pond storage and tertiary treat by filtration and disinfect for town reuse by irrigation.

Description:
A design and construct waste water treatment plant to treat raw sewage to a class B standard, suitable for reuse and disposal to irrigation. Part of the community waste management system (CWMS) that combines treated waste water with storm water that's further tertiary treated by filtration and disinfection.
Features:
Powered by two single wire earth return (SWER) from SA Power networks which is converted to three phase power by utilising Frequency Converters. The treatment plant is essentially a intermittently decanted extended aeration (IDEA) process and utilises nutrient reduction techniques. Features also include the return from lagoon storage of treated effluent mixed with storm water which is further processed for community reuse as towns water irrigation.
