  • Caring and able staff offer assistance with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Medication management
  • Visiting Pharmacists (prescriptions and pharmaceutical items at resident’s expense)
  • Transport booked for medical appointments (cost of transport is the resident’s responsibility)
  • Reminders where necessary for medical appointments
  • Calling of medical practitioner when necessary
  • Dental appointments
  • Personal Laundry
  • Room cleaning (vacuuming & dusting)
  • Tidying of drawers and cupboards at resident’s request
  • Bed Linen (changed weekly)
  • Special Dietary needs
  • Visiting hairdresser (resident’s expense)
  • Visiting podiatrist (resident’s expense)
  • Visiting optician (resident’s expense)
  • Limited financial management
  • Uniting Care Wesley support if approved as having high and complex needs
  • Anglicare support for clients over the age of 65
  • Port side community church visit on Thursdays and any day programme’s they may be offering
  • Port Adelaide/Enfield council visit Thursdays and offer a wide range of activities and workers whom volunteer their time at the facility.

NOTE: The management of Sunnydale Supportive Care are able to assist with small amounts of pocket money for daily needs of residents. Where large amounts of money are involved we advise the assistance of a third party be sought, i.e. Trust Company, family member etc. Where pocket money is held by Sunnydale, records are kept showing date and amount received, date and amount spent, description of goods and a balance. These records are available for inspection by the resident or representative during office hours. (Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
